Beauty trick: silky legs after shaving!

I've recently came across this wonderful trick to make your skin silky after shaving your legs: a combination of sugar, olive oil and lemon juice you apply before shaving.

I've tried this myself and I was amazed, really! My skin is super sensitive and I always have to put two or three layers of lotion after shaving, in order to prevent irritation. But this mixture works amazingly. Here's why:

- the citrus juice (lemon or lime, whatever you prefer) because of it's acidity, reveals brighter, smoother skin;

- the grains of sugar exfoliate your skin, removing the layer of dead cells that lies on the top of the new, living skin cells. This makes your skin healthier and softer, and allows you to moisten deeply;

- the olive oil (you can use any other oil instead of this one) moistens your skin deeply, making it silky and smooth. It also prevents the razor from irritating your skin, by turning it into a slippery surface.

So here is how to do it:

- 1 1/4 cup of sugar
- 1/2 cup of oil (olive oil, coconut oil, or any other)
- 3 tablespoons of citrus juice (lemon or lime)

Mix everything together. It is easier if you use a jar, you can just shake it up.

Take the jar to the bathroom with you and let your legs soak a couple of minutes before applying the mixture. Rub your legs with it (you can use it on your feet as well) and shave :) Rinse and repeat if necessary.

It is better to wash your body after shaving and not before, because it will remove any rests of oil of your bath tube. That way it won't be slippery when you're done.

After getting out, put some lotion on. Voilá, you have perfect, silky, smooth legs!
